This year, Levin Schreder & Carey sponsored the Forest Preserve Foundation “Conservation Cup”. The foundation raised over $200,000 exceeding its goal for the year. For more information go to https://forestpreservefoundation.org. See photo below:
Levin Schreder & Carey has also been an annual sponsor of the Chicago Foundation for Women’s Annual Luncheon and Symposium since 2010.
Since 2014, Levin Schreder & Carey has partnered with the Cristo Rey Work Study program. Through the firm’s partnership with Christo Rey, high school students from underserved, low income communities have the opportunity to work in our office as a part of their high school curriculum. Our staff enjoys mentoring the students, and the students gain valuable on-the-job work experiences. In addition, our partnership helps to fund the students’ high school tuition. All in all, a win/win experience for everyone involved. For further information about the Cristo Rey program go to: www.cristorey.net.
Levin Schreder & Carey has also partnered with the CARA organization to employ several full-time and temporary staff members. CARA provides opportunity, training and job placement for individuals who have broken the cycle of homelessness or poverty and have transformed their lives. For further information about the Cara program go to: www.carachicago.org.
Levin Schreder & Carey partners, Robin Maher and David Lieberman, are active volunteer attorneys with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ PCAP program, providing pro bono representation to low income individuals in the Cook County Probate Court.
And of course, as noted on their individual bios, many Levin Schreder & Carey attorneys are leaders in their own community and neighborhood organizations.
